When kids sports charity Youth Sport Direct field-tested its new Brilliant Outdoor Bag (BOB for short) the feedback they got made interesting reading to say the least. It seems that dads love it even more than mums.

It’s cool as you like design, the fact it allows you to store personal gadgets and gizmos as well as all your child’s clobber and its specially designed sanity-saving special packs that entertain, educate and amuse little ‘un when your on the move, make it ideal for dad when he ventures out on his own with his tot. So no wonder then, it got the thumbs up en-masse from all the fathers who gave it a run out in trials.

BOB features loads of pockets and compartments for adult essentials such as wallets, mobile phones and laptops while at the same time featuring crucial kids features such as bottle/beaker holder, padded changing mat and pram attachment straps. What really makes BOB so useful though is the range of four equipment packs available to go with it. Each has been created to offer a choice of equipment, games and fun things to do depending on your child’s age, and physical capabilities.

The ‘Go-Go’ package is for tiny tots up to 18 months and features a selection of products designed to develop your child’s senses and to encourage movement. ‘Move-It’ meanwhile, is toddler inspired and packed full of items that will aid agility balance and co-ordination. Then there’s ‘Sport-Ie’, a package that coincides with Key Stage Two age group (7-11) and is all about engaging and fun activities that will develop a variety of key physical skills through play. Finally, ‘Swim-In’ makes visits to the pool so much more fun and features kit that will suit young swimmers from water babies to older children.

Bob takes the stress out and puts the fun in to getting out and about with your youngsters. Everyone’s a winner.
