The United States women’s football team won the World Cup for the fourth time as they beat the Netherlands in Lyon. Fans took this not just a victory in football but also as an opportunity to make a stand, where they could be heard chanting “Equal pay!” among the victory cheers.

Halle Bailey has officially landed the role of Ariel…

Unless you haven’t opened any social media in the last few days, you’ve heard that Halle Bailey has been casted to play the role of Ariel in Disney classic The Little Mermaid. Naturally, we’re overjoyed and are counting down the days till its release. However, many people are not happy about Berry playing Ariel as she is not the same race as the original Ariel. Many have expressed their opinions under the hashtag #NotMyAriel.
