HUGH JACKMAN IS RAPIDLY BECOMING ONE
of the biggest stars in Hollywood.
The Australian actor has enjoyed huge box office success with the X-Men series, including this summer’s blockbuster ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, while earlier this year he was invited to host the Academy Awards. PeopleMagazine also recently bestowed himwith the title of “SexiestMan Alive”.
Born in Sydney to English parents, Jackman – who turned 40 last October – is the youngest of five siblings and was raised solely by his father fromthe age of eight, when hismother walked out on the family. Hemet wife Deborra-Lee Furness in 1995 on the set of Aussie TV series ‘Correlli’, in which they both starred, and the pairmarried the following year. After suffering the heartbreak of twomiscarriages, the couple now have two adopted children – OscarMaximilian, nine, and Ava Eliot, who turns four thismonth.
