Finding a healthy meal for the whole family needn’t be a struggle with our pick of London’s top clean eating spots.

Farmstand

Taking inspiration from around the world, Farmstand bring international recipes to the city of London without the carbon footprint by using only locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. Everything on the menu is free from gluten, dairy, hormones, antibiotics and refined sugar, so you can be sure that this is a truly great spot for some healthy grub. Whilst not offering a specific children’s menu, the ability to “build your own box” and a mind-boggling 52,000 different combinations means you can simply select the foods that your kids will love most.

Granger & Co.

Owned by father of three Bill Granger, this much-loved London restaurant situated in Kings Cross brings a taste of Sydney to the capital. With a menu packed with ‘feel good’ food and plenty of healthy options available throughout the day, it’s hard not to be tempted inside. The restaurant allows you to dive into the relaxed and easy-going Australian spirit without having to compromise on the quality of the food. While Granger & Co. doesn’t have a children’s menu on offer, the team are very accommodating and will provide smaller portions where possible.

Squirrel

Situated an ‘acorn’s throw’ from South Kensington tube station you will find a clean-eating, healthy restaurant with a twist. With its decor resembling the natural surroundings of a forest, Squirrel takes healthy food to new heights. Only working with suppliers that share the same ethics, the restaurant focuses on seasonal ingredients from the best producers and uses in-house nutritionist Zoe Stirling to select produce based on the health benefits they provide. With all food made freshly in front of customers, it’s easy to customise your dishes according to your taste and dietary requirements, allowing you to create the perfect portion size for your children.

HIX

With a menu that rivals any a la carte, Mark Hix has taken the idea that children should be allowed to have the same dining experience as adults to its fullest potential. Situated in Soho, the ultra-cool flagship restaurant focuses on quality ingredients without all the additives. Hix has also turned the children’s menu into a versatile twist on adult food whilst keeping the traditional options available. If that wasn’t enough of an incentive, children under the age of ten eat free when accompanied by a dining adult between noon and 6pm every day.
