Isabel Tate from Cornwall has won the competition to star in 2010’s ad campaign for Childsure’s Children’s Health Insurance, in association with Aviva.
Most grown women would like to impress top shoe designer Jimmy Choo – let alone a six year old girl.
The world renowned designer and top model agency Elliott Brown were wowed by Isabel after choosing her from the finalists, who had endured four agonizing rounds.
Thousands applied to be the Face of Childsure following a Facebook campaign which saw mums and dads across the country battle it out for their little ones. The competition was open from birth to 18 years, split into four age categories.
Isabel said “This is even more exciting than Christmas and my birthday! I can’t believe it as I love having my picture taken. I’ve even asked Jimmy Choo if he’ll make me a pair of shoes!”
Isabel is preparing for a professional photo shoot for the ad campaign at iconic Cornish landmarks such as Marazion which is said to be Britain’s oldest town and Port Isaac. As her mother is a nurse they have teamed up with Childsure to pay their local hospital The Ramsey Dutchy a visit.
