Dad’s campaign for baby changing tables in men’s toilets

Dad-of-three Donte Palmer has started a campaign #Squatforchange that aims to increase baby changing tables in men’s toilets. All this after a picture of him squatting while changing his son’s nappy on his Instagram page went viral. “What’s the deal with not having changing tables in men’s bathroom as if we don’t exist,” he wrote on the post. “Let’s fix this problem!” Us dads couldn’t agree more.

Nappy Alliance calls on government to reduce environmental impact

The Nappy Alliance has welcomed government support for reducing the environmental footprint of disposable nappies and has called for a clear and timely approach to promote reusable nappies. Environment Secretary Michael Gove MP said recently that the government is considering measures to reduce the use of disposable nappies. The average baby uses 4,000 nappies up to potty training (weighing up to 120kg), the majority of which will go to landfill – eight million of them every day in the UK alone.
