High-quality British pushchair makers, iCandy, have expanded their business into bags.

The changing bags – which are named mostly after loved ones – are at the height of fashion and designed by Janet Collin, known for her position at Mulberry. Janet wanted the bags to be practical whilst still looking luxurious, as well as offering colours that she hoped would “cheer parents up”. There are 5 different styles of bag into which everyone in the company has had input and all can be used as handbags.

The ‘Charlie’ bag has been designed as a bag that works for both men and women and will be available in not only black, but also a red or purple. Again, although the bags were created to look stylish, practicality is also high on the list of priorities and the bag can be used as for a laptop once baby has grown.

iCandy has already had great success with their iconic pushchairs being used by celebrities such as Jack Wilshere and the Beckhams. Having revolutionised the buggy marketplace, they are now set to do the same to the changing bag world.

The launch of iCandy’s first bag collection will be in September 2014 and they will be available directly from the iCandy website or retailers nationwide including John Lewis and Mothercare.
