Synagogue shooting shakes California…

On the 27th of April, tragedy struck Poway, California as a shooter fired through Chabad Poway Synagogue. This shooting left one dead and three injured. Authorities have confirmed they have a suspect in custody. A 19-year old male who used a AR style rifle.

Brigid Kosgei wins it all…

Brigid Kosgei of Team Kenya took first place in the London Marathon, her first London Marathon win. Her entire team did well as fellow teammates Eliud Kipchoge and Vivan Cheruiyot also placed in the top three.

Cambridge University is launching a two-year project to find out just how involved they might have been in the slave trade. They are determined to discover and document any ways that they may have participated and benefited from slavery. They are even investigating any racial prejudice that may have been taught on campus. Volunteers across the UK band together for the earth…

Between 6-14 of April over 450,000 UK residents came together for the biggest beach clean day in history. This larger than life group of volunteers collected over 70 thousand kilograms of waste which equals 17,700 completely fill bin bags. Meet the volunteers here.
