Joie teams up with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) for child road safety.

Iconic parenting brand Joie has announced the big news that they’ve teamed up with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) as their global partner for child road safety. Their aim is to increase the safety of children worldwide, whether in a vehicle or walking the streets.

UNITAR provides professional road safety training through its International Training Centre for Authorities and Leaders (CIFAL) in Madrid. Following the announcement, Joie will present future UNITAR training programmes across the globe, including e-learning programmes. This type of training is aimed at professionals within the safety sector such as police and fire services.

Joie’s expertise in child safety means that they will be able to educate and inform course participants in a whole manner of subjects, for example car seat standards and the manufacture and design of child restraints.
