About Us

FQ Magazine was launched in 2003 by Damion Queva, who recognised the need for a publication that reflected the voice and aspirations of the modern father. At a time when men’s magazines focused mostly on lifestyle and leisure, FQ broke new ground — shifting the conversation from lads to dads. It became the first magazine to explore fatherhood from a male perspective, helping men understand, learn, and take part in every aspect of parenting and relationships, from pre-birth through to family life.
Since its launch, FQ has evolved alongside the changing roles of fathers and modern families. From the rise of stay-at-home dads and innovations in stroller and pushchair design, to progressive shifts in paternal rights and a more balanced approach to parenting, FQ has been there to inform, inspire, and celebrate these cultural changes.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with leading organisations and major brands to promote a more inclusive view of parenting — one that encourages men to be active, knowledgeable, and confident participants in their children’s lives.
FQ’s vision and influence have also expanded globally with the launch of FQ Japan (fqjapan.jp) in 2006 and FQ Thailand in 2014, extending the brand’s message of modern fatherhood to international audiences.
Today, FQ continues to deliver a smart mix of lifestyle content — including cars, entertainment, health, fitness, travel, tech, and fashion — while staying true to its mission: to champion fatherhood and redefine modern family life.
