Prestigious Bridgestone e-CENTRE Award

Eden Tyres & Servicing, based in Tungsten Park, Oakham, has proudly achieved Bridgestone UK’s ‘e-CENTRE’ status, establishing itself as one of the UK’s most innovative automotive depots.

This prestigious recognition follows a rigorous assessment involving 80 criteria focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, customer experience, and operational excellence.

The e-CENTRE initiative, developed in collaboration with Ernst & Young, encourages tyre retailers to adopt industry best practices while enhancing customer service. Eden Tyres is now implementing numerous forward-thinking strategies, including a shift to renewable energy, advanced staff training, and tracking CO2 emissions with tools from Bridgestone UK and TrackZero Monitoring Technology.

Matt Eden, Managing Director, expressed his pride in the achievement, stating, “We strive to lead in innovation and sustainability, and this recognition reinforces our commitment to the community and alignment with Bridgestone’s goals.”

Andy Mathias, Bridgestone’s Head of Marketing North Europe, commended Eden Tyres for setting new standards in tyre retail through its commitment to road safety and sustainability. Bridgestone plans to invest £1 million in the e-CENTRE programme and aims to assess hundreds of tyre retailers across Europe in the coming years.

Alan Wilson, founder of Track Zero, highlighted Eden Tyres’ role in establishing environmental benchmarks within the automotive sector, adding that collaborating with them and Bridgestone is an exciting opportunity to redefine mobility services.
