Horizon MCV Limited has launched its first luxury multi-concept vehicle range, the first time a company has adapted the German brand’s vehicles for the UK’s luxury campervan market at this high-end level.

Horizon Multi-Concept Vehicles are designed to act both as premium, robust vehicles which are ideal for day-to-day transportation such as taking children to school, visiting the supermarket or commuting to work, whilst also providing the high-end, comprehensive living area needed to complement weekends away and long-distance tours.

Horizon MCV’s introduction of its specially-crafted Mercedes-Benz Vito range offers drivers the best of both worlds which, through quick simple-finance options, is absent of the costly arrangements of managing multiple vehicles.

Starting life as a panelled Mercedes-Benz Dualiner, a Horizon MCV Vito undergoes a stage-by-stage hand build at Horizon MCV’s studios in the city of Hull transforming it into a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Added to the exterior is an elevating roof which allows the Horizon MCV Vito range to drastically increase its internal height by 2.20m. The vehicle is furnished with leather and Compac Quartz Granite surfaces, and at the push of a button, it becomes a spacious sleeping quarter for 4 adults and 1 child as the back seats flatten electronically and the front seats swivel. Each is equipped with an advanced 4-cylinder CDI diesel engine which produces 136bhp.

Speaking about the launch event at this year’s Motorhome and Caravan Show, NEC Birmingham, James Burt, Sales Director of Horizon MCV Ltd said: “We are so delighted with the response of our new Vito range. Customers have been impressed with the extent of bespoke craftsmanship that has gone into the build of our vehicles and, being the first Mercedes vehicle entered at this high-end level, we are expecting the Horizon MCV range to mark a landmark moment for the campervan market.
