Beyond the superclubs and beach parties, Ibiza has a surprising number of tourist attractions to ensure kids can have a memorable experience too.

Here are 10 reasons to take the whole family to the party capital of the world:

Hippy Market, Es Caná

If you haven’t already heard about Ibiza’s famous Hippy markets, then you’re in for a treat. You will find many scattered across the island, but the original Punta Arabi in Es Caná offers a particularly great day out. With 500 stalls full of colour and music, and anything from 12-14,000 visitors each Wednesday, you can be sure you’ll pick up anything from jewellery to handicrafts. Not only that, but you can expect to see live music from groups across Spain whilst street performers entertain you and the kids.

Ocean Mania, San Antonio Bay

Ibiza’s first water wipe-out park landed on the White Isle last summer offering holidaymakers their very own Total Wipe-Out experience. Situated along the sea front opposite sister venture, Ocean Beach Ibiza, in San Antonio Bay, Ocean Mania comes in at just over 7,000sqft long and includes interlocking stations of water slides, trampolines, swings, balancing beams, bridges, cliffs, free-floating catapults and climbing towers. This inflatable, floating obstacle course is something the kids can’t fail to enjoy.

The Bowling Centre, Playa D En Bossa

If you’re looking for a night of fun and games for the whole family, the Bowling Centre could be right up your alley. Whether you’re a serious striker or a victim of the notorious gutter ball, the Bowling Centre has heaps more to offer aside from its 4 bowling alleys; with a rodeo bull, mini cars and various arcade games to keep the kids entertained for the whole evening. Accompanied by a restaurant and bar, the Bowling Centre is the ideal family night out – cheap, cheerful, and of course, competitive.

Mini Ibiza, Club de Campo

Mini Ibiza is a great new way for the kids and the grown-ups to enjoy what Ibiza has to offer. Whether you’re looking for an hour off to soak up some sun or a full day out about town, Mini Ibiza offers a childcare service that completely revolves around you so that you can go off and do your own thing carefree, while the kids are entertained by garden games and exciting workshops. Mini Ibiza also offers a whole range of services including parties and birthday celebrations – the ultimate family holiday partner.

Ibiza Karting, San Antonio

Calling all junior Formula 1 drivers. Situated just outside San Antonio, kids from four years old can channel there inner Lewis Hamilton and get in the driving seat for some safe family fun. Compete against each other or let your need for speed take over and compare your times with racing royalty such as Hamilton, Button and Alonso. Take a pit-stop at the café bar or enjoy the games zone in between rides, Ibiza Karting caters for your every desire on a fun family day out. Open day and night throughout the summer, there’s absolutely no excuse to miss the chance to experience Ibiza on wheels.

Acrobosc, Santa Eulalia del Rio

What Ocean Mania is to water, Acrobosc is to land. Whether it’s a challenge or an adventure, Acrobosc certainly promises a fun and unique experience for the whole family. Located between Santa Eulalia and Es Caná, the assault course includes a whopping 43 obstacles, 17 zip lines and 39 platforms – perfect for the thrill-seekers but certainly not for the faint-hearted. Put your balance and skills to the test with this fantastic outdoor activity which is ideal entertainment for young and old, and makes for an unforgettable day out.

Air Zone Park, Sant Antoni de Portmany

Ever wanted to walk on water? Air Zone Ibiza, the only park of inflatable orbs in the whole of Spain, gives you the chance to defy the impossible and walk, run and somersault inside an inflatable orb, all whilst inside a water pool. Or, if you prefer land, you can battle it out in the arena area wearing body bumpers, where falling over is inevitable but just another part of the fun. If you’re really feeling brave, also try the Vortex, which lets you roll down the park’s large 213ft slope in one of the giant orbs. This inflatable experience is a thrill-seeker must.

Aquarium Cap Blanc, Sant Antoni de Portmany

Better known as ‘the lobster cave’, Aquarium Cap Blanc gives you and your family a front row seat for some of the most exotic sea animals in the Mediterranean. Positioned in a natural cave, the Aquarium is inhabited by various species including the majestic dusky grouper and the discrete rainbow wrasse. Situated close to the beach of Cala Graciom, a visit to ‘the lobster cave’ is an afternoon out that the kids will love; if the colourful fish don’t take their fancy, the shark eggs should do the trick.

Banana Dance Studios, Santa Eulalia

Who said dancing in Ibiza was reserved for the clubs? Whether you’ve got moves like Jagger or two left feet, Banana Dance Studios is sure to be a toe-tapping treat for the whole family. With 3 large studios, they’ve got all the bases covered – from ballet, to hip hop; salsa to Zumba. Don’t miss out on your chance to get involved with the Ibizan groove and learn some new moves. With visitors ranging from 3 to 70 years old, this is certainly an activity that the whole family can enjoy.

Suitable for adults, kids and foodies, you’ll discover how to make 4 easy and delicious dishes. Not your typical evening meal but let’s face it, way more fun.
