BabyBjörn’s SoFo changing bag is versatile, stylish and modern.

First Impressions

Developed by a new father working at the company, the SoFo can be worn in 3 different ways – as a tote, a rucksack or a messenger bag. For dads, this is a great consideration and really increases its flexibility when out and about. Although you might much prefer a shoulder carry on an everyday basis, with your baby in a carrier, it’s so much more comfortable to have a backpack. Not only does it instantly cut the space needed down from 3 bags to 1, but it also prevents the only packet of wipes from being accidentally left in your other bag in the last minute rush.

Appearance-wise, the SoFo is understated yet highly fashionable, great for dads who want a bag that is smart but not too loud. The slate grey colouring feels modern and really lends itself to being carried by both parents. The pale purple interior also turns out to be highly practical when you’re looking to find things quickly.

Features

Just as the lining colour has been designed to make life that bit easier, the rest of the bag is just as well-crafted. There is a key fob, so you won’t have to waste time fumbling through a bag with a fussy baby needing to get into the car. The inside boasts a large main compartment and 13 separate pockets so you can really get organised. Two bottle pockets on the outside provide extra space. They aren’t insulated, but most bottle brands do have insulated bags, so that’s not a major problem.

The changing mat is nice; made from a soft, padded fabric. It’s also machine washable and passed Öko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1, the world’s strictest textile standard, which means that reassuringly, the pad contains no harmful substances or allergens.

FQ Verdict

Unlike many other changing bags on the market, dads can feel truly at ease – and look good – carrying the SoFo.
