Need a family day out? Look no further than Warwick Castle.

If you’re stuck for something to do this summer, and you’d like your kids to learn a lot about history, then Warwick Castle has it all.

After more than a year’s break, you’ll once again be wowed as daring knights perform epic jousting feats on horseback with the return of Wars of the Roses Live.

Pick a side as the houses of York and Lancaster battle it out with jousting, stunts and sword-fights in a spectacular custom-built arena event.

As well as the spectacular show, you can head inside the Castle to view the medieval weaponry display in the Great Hall. Or you can explore the 64 acres of grounds and gardens, or climb the towers and ramparts.

What’s more, you’ll experience the sights, sounds, and smells of medieval England in The Kingmaker walkthrough.

If that’s not enough, you’ll marvel as birds of prey display aerial acrobatics in The Falconer’s Quest, and your little ones will love the new Zog and the Quest for the Golden Star trail.

They’ll also have a hoot finding their way around the newly revamped Horrible Histories Maze, containing a new era, Vile Victorians.

It really is a full and tantalising historical day out!
