Mustang Dark Horse: 788 Horses Unleashed!

London-based high-performance specialist Clive Sutton has unveiled the ‘CS800DH Mustang’, a striking 788bhp variant of the Ford Mustang Dark Horse, writes Tim Barnes-Clay.

This model features significant upgrades in performance, handling, and design, establishing it as one of the most powerful Mustangs available in the UK.

Equipped with a Ford Performance 3.0L Whipple Supercharger, the five-litre V8 engine sees a 76% increase in poke, rising from 447bhp to 788 horses at 6,700 rpm, while torque reaches 642 lb-ft at 4,750 rpm. The bespoke carbon fibre enhancements include a wide rear wing, larger diffuser, unique double-sided bonnet, front splitter, and side skirts.

Additional features include new Vossen wheels with Michelin Pilot 4S tyres, a Borla ATAK quad-tip exhaust system, and an adjustable short-throw racing shifter. Inside, you can choose custom upholstery, including premium leather and Alcantara finishes, along with adjustable Recaro sports seats.

All modifications comply with Ford Performance specifications, ensuring the full Ford three-year/36,000-mile warranty remains intact, along with Sutton’s own warranty covering the enhancements. The CS800DH Mustang is priced from £135,000 to £165,000.
