Having a productive morning can set you up for success the rest of day. Here are five tips to rocking your mornings.

Breakfast is not the only thing once you’ve woken up. Follow our guide for ways to make the most of your mornings.

Get your workout out of the way

Exercising in the morning is a great way to get your heart pumping and burn calories, even for hours later. Try waking up 30 minutes earlier and see how much more productive you feel after you’ve sweat it out. Check out this full list for all the benefits of exercising in the morning here.

Drink water

Drinking one to two glasses of water as soon as you wake up helps activate your internal organs. Drinking water first thing in the morning is said to be good for your digestive system, beneficial to your skin and help decreases toxins in your bloodstream. Try adding lemon to warm water for even more benefits.

Eat breakfast

Having a healthy breakfast in the morning will give you the energy to fuel the rest of your day. People who eat breakfast are less likely to binge on high-sugar and carb loaded foods later on in the day.

Make a plan

Take this time in the morning to set a schedule for the rest of the day. Use this time to organise all the day’s tasks and must-dos. This will help you feel less overwhelmed with all the things you need to do.

Wake up earlier

Getting up earlier keeps you from rushing around at the last time. This is the perfect way to ease into your morning and complete a productive morning routine. Try not to hit the snooze button and draw the curtains open to let in the morning light.
