Tula baby carriers’ glow-up: giving dad as well as hot mama

Tula has unveiled a fresh new look and a revamped collection of its popular baby carriers, combining its familiar ergonomic design with new fabrics, colours and prints, and it’s a winning formula.

The relaunch sees three of Tula’s core carriers given updated names and a new selection of designs, aimed at parents who want a practical carrier that also looks good. Step forward, basically everyone.

Baby carriers, but make them stylish

There’s no reason a baby carrier has to look like a piece of specialist kit you’ve reluctantly strapped to yourself. Tula’s new collection takes a more fashion-conscious approach, with textured fabrics, sophisticated neutrals and prints ranging from subtle to statement.

The collection includes Herringbone Twill, lightweight Linen Twill, soft Cotton and Tula’s breathable Mesh, with colours and patterns designed to work with what you’re already wearing rather than fight with it.

Among the new designs are Cocoa, a rich, warm neutral; Skyline, an airy pale shade; and Ash, Sand & Spruce, a sophisticated combination of neutrals. If you prefer something with more personality, there’s Snow CatBlack MirageShadow Petals and Sahara Stripe, alongside a selection of new Mesh prints.

Three Tula carriers to choose from

The new collection covers three of Tula’s core carriers, with updated names intended to make choosing the right one a little easier.

The Tula Explore Carrier (£159) offers three carrying positions, padded shoulder straps, an adjustable waistband and a large storage pocket. It is suitable for children from 3.2 to 15.9kg.

The Tula Original Carrier (£132), formerly the Tula Free to Grow, offers two carrying positions and is also suitable from 3.2 to 15.9kg.

Then there’s the Tula Kid Carrier (£132), previously known as the Tula Toddler, which is designed for bigger children up to 27.2kg.

A new era for Tula

The new collection forms part of a wider Tula brand refresh, which includes a redesigned logo, new website and updated photography.

The idea is simple: babywearing should be comfortable and practical, but that doesn’t mean you have to abandon your personal style the moment you become a parent. Tula has spent more than a decade building its reputation around ergonomic baby carriers, and the new collection adds a distinctly more considered aesthetic to that familiar foundation.

And frankly, if something is going to be attached to you for several hours a day, it might as well look good.

The new Tula baby carriers and prints are available now, with prices from £132.
