Warwick Castle has unveiled its greatest Christmas yet with the arrival of its all-new light trail!

Ice Skating and Stories with Santa take you on a festive journey through grounds and gardens dressed in thousands of lights, and are all part of the festive fun at the castle from now until January 7, 2024.

And, for those seeking a touch of wintery enchantment, you can extend your trip with a Santa Sleepover in a woodland lodge nestled within the Knight’s Village riverside accommodation.

Here is what’s in store:

Christmas at the Castle – 25th November – 7th January

No December would be complete without Christmas at the Castle, when a dazzling light trail, twinkling trees and festive flourishes show the castle at its best, creating a winter wonderland.

This year, Warwick Castle’s iconic light trail has been taken to all new heights, with bespoke soundtracks, new effects, lighting, lasers as well as a 25m tall interactive tree in the middle of the Central Courtyard.

The illuminating evening light trail is based on a story written for the castle by author Samuel Langley Swain titled ‘The Greedy Prince and the Greatest Gift’. It is designed to take families on a festive journey through the 12 days of Christmas.

Add in Stories with Santa, as well as an ice-skating rink and that’s Christmas all wrapped up.

The Great Hall is at its most stunning when decorated for the festive season, complete with a 20ft decorated tree. There is so much to enjoy for the entire family, including a host of seasonal entertainment, the winter birds of prey display, meeting cheery festive elves, browsing the Christmas market stalls and eating delicious food.

Santa Sleepovers

You can also make memories with a Santa Sleepover at Warwick Castle.  You will find festive flourishes in the cosy Knight’s Village, including themed evening entertainment. Then, in the morning, you wake up to the sound of sleigh bells with an elf wake-up call where Santa’s elves will bring a present for the kids.

Santa Sleepover packages also include Storytime with Santa, a magical moment when you and your family can enjoy a heart-warming tale of festive joy in the morning.

Santa Sleepovers start from £299 based on two adults and two children, staying in a Woodland Lodge, and includes entry to the castle for one day.
