FQ Verdict on the Waterdrop M6HG

The Waterdrop M6HG is one of those gadgets you don’t realise you need until you’ve lived with it. Instead of waiting for the kettle or relying on bottled water, it delivers purified water almost instantly at the touch of a button.

Its eight-stage reverse osmosis filtration with UV sterilisation removes a wide range of contaminants, while the mineralisation process helps improve taste. Five preset temperatures make it equally useful for morning coffee, tea, instant noodles or preparing baby formula, which will be a real plus for families with newborns.

For busy parents, convenience is where the M6HG really shines. There’s no complicated installation – simply plug it in, fill the tank and you’re ready to go. The detachable 1.2-litre BPA-free glass pitcher is easy to use around the house, whether you’re filling bottles, cooking dinner or topping up the dog’s water bowl.

The smart control panel remembers your favourite temperature and volume settings, saving time when everyone wants a drink in the morning rush. It’s also reassuring to know the system keeps purified and waste water completely separate, with the waste water able to be reused for jobs such as watering plants.

At £429, it’s undoubtedly an investment, but if your household gets through plenty of tea, coffee or formula feeds and you’re looking to improve your drinking water without a plumbed-in system, the Waterdrop M6HG is an impressive, family-friendly option.FQ Rat
